Description

The vessel is equipped with two pod propulsion systems of Azipod type (nozzle rudder); dynamic positioning system; helicopter pad. During designing and construction of the tanker was utilized the principle of «double action»: the ice-breaking stern and the bow for open water.

Onboard the tanker was installed the updated cargo-loading system of arctic modification, which provides operation practically with any sea terminal, including terminals of the North Sea and Varandey oil shipment terminal. The vessel is capable to operate unescorted in winter period in the ice with thickness up to 1.2 meters.

The tanker is built in compliance with the requirements of Lloyd Register and Classification – Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, ice class Arc6 (ЛУ6).
