Multipurpose amphibious aircraft Be-200ES
Multipurpose amphibious aircraft for the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations is intended for:
- firefighting;
- rendering urgent help in critical areas of emergency;
- search&rescue missions in the sea, ambulance missions;
- air freighting.

Description
The Be-200ES amphibian is equipped with two bypass turbojet engines D-436TP (Motor Sich, Ukraine), 7650 kg take-off thrust each.
On June 20, 2003 Type Certificate for Restricted Category Aircraft № СТОК 220-Бе-200ЧС was issued.
On December 29, 2003 Type Certificate № СТ229-Бе-200ЧС was issued.
On August 17, 2004 Supplement to Type Certificate № СТОК 220-Бе-200ЧС/ДО1 was issued, allowing the international airroute operations.
On January 31, 2007 Supplement to Type Certificate № СТ229-Бе-200ЧС/Д-02 was issued, allowing the aircraft passenger version operation.
On May 25, 2010, a supplement to Type Certificate № СТ229-Бе-200ЧС/Д03 for Be-200ES-Е aircraft equipped with "English cockpit" was received.
On September 7, 2010, a Type Certificate EASA.IM.A.114 for Be-200ES-Е aircraft was awarded by European Aviation Safety Agency.
Currently, activities related to the contract with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia associated with delivery of seven Be-200ES aircraft are being conducted. The first serial Be-200ES amphibian took off on its maiden flight from the aerodrome in Irkutsk on June 17, 2003 and was handed over to the aviation group of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations.
One Be-200ES aircraft was delivered to foreign customer in Azerbaijan in 2008.
In 2010, Beriev Aircraft Company and Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia signed a pre-contract agreement related to delivery of eight Be-200ES aircraft.
