Complex “Telemechanics. KTM-02K ”is intended for remote control, monitoring and protection of equipment of traction substations of city electric vehicles from a control room in a multi-point telemetry network using a fiber optic communication line over the network (FOCL). FOCL cables are laid along the supports of contact wires and can easily be routed to the control room and each traction substation. In the absence of FOCL, it is possible to use a VHF simplex radio channel as a communication channel.
