Description

Polished steel welding wire S2Ni1Mo, EA2 is made for gas shielded and submerged arc welding.
During the production of polished wire DEKA in the technological process, instead of the copper plating process, the process of micropolishing the surface of the wire with a special chemical composition is used. That increases the current conductivity of the wire, reduces the energy required for welding and improves the mechanical characteristics of welds. The absence of shedding of copper coating in the feed mechanisms, along with a low friction coefficient, reduces downtime of welding equipment related to periodic cleaning of guide channels/hoses and increases the lifetime of the tip.

Polished welding wire DEKA is used:
• For bridge structures welding
• For pipelines welding
• For containers and boilers welding
• For structures made of steel profiles welding
• For housings, frames and pipes welding

Chemical composition S2Ni1Mo, EA2, %:
C 0,07 - 0,12
Si 0,11 - 0,35
Mn 0,4 - 0,7
P ≤0,020
S ≤0,025
Ni 1,0 -1 1,5
Cr ≤0,20
Mo ≤0,4 - 0,55

Advantages of using DEKA polished wire:
• Absence of shedding that leads to clogging of the feeding mechanisms.
• There are no additional short circuits when working at high currents.
• Can be used for almost any type of welding.
• Has a wide temperature range of use.
