Description

DEKA ER70S-7, 4Si1 wire is used for semi-automatic welding of carbon and low-alloy steels in shielding gases: 100% CO2, 80% Ar + 20% CO2. Micropolishing of the wire surface with a special chemical composition increases the conductivity of the wire, reduces the energy required for welding and improves the mechanical characteristics of welds. The absence of shedding of copper coating in the feed mechanisms, along with a low friction coefficient, reduces downtime of welding equipment related to periodic cleaning of guide channels/hoses and increases the lifetime of the tip.

Chemical composition of ER70S-7, 4Si1, %:
C 0,05 – 0,11
Si 0,7 – 0,95
Mn 1,8 – 2,1
P ≤ 0,030
S ≤ 0,025
Ni ≤ 0,075
Cr ≤ 0,2

Benefits of usage:
• Absence of shedding that leads to clogging of the feeding mechanisms.
• There are no additional short circuits when working at high currents.
• Cheaper than copper-clad wire
• Welding torch consumables last longer
• Reduced harmful effects on the body due to the lack of coverage
• Can be used for almost any type of welding
• Has a wide temperature range of use.
• Large range of products.

Available diameters: 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.2 mm, 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm and intermediate diameters.
