Fans are used in ventilation systems of mine workings, they are mainly intended for ventilation of blind workings, as well as mine shafts and round-bore workings during their sinking. Fans are explosion-proof, can be used in coal mines hazardous in gas and dust, because exclude explosive situations.

Explosion-proof mine shaft ventilating fan VME-12 with an electric drive for explosion-proof design is designed to ventilate mine workings of cross-sections up to 16 – 42 m2 with air density up to 1.3 kg / m3, temperature from 268 to 308 K, dust content up to 50 mg / m3 and relative humidity up to 95% (at a temperature of 298 K).
Explosion-proof mine shaft ventilating fan VME-12 with an electric drive for explosion-proof design is designed to ventilate mine workings of cross-sections up to 16 – 42 m2 with air density up to 1.3 kg / m3, temperature from 268 to 308 K, dust content up to 50 mg / m3 and relative humidity up to 95% (at a temperature of 298 K).
It is installed on a fresh stream for injection ventilation of underground blind workings with high gas evolution. It is allowed to apply as fans of the main ventilation. During operation, the fan is installed in a horizontal position with a permissible deviation of the fan axis from the horizontal of not more than ± 30 °. The fan is designed for operation with a flexible or rigid duct with a diameter of 1000 – 1200 mm. At the request of the consumer, the fans can be supplied with a voltage of 380/660 V. and 660/1140 V.
