The combined sowing complexes of FEAT series with the simultaneous secondary tillage and seed placement into the disk coulter are designed for the row sowing of cereal, legume and small-seeded crops on the untreated background with the parallel application of granulated mineral fertilizers with the sowing material.

The cultivator part of the sowing complex is equipped with five rows of tines with a flat shovel. The double spring creates force on the shovel equal to 1000N (120 kg), which allows to treat soil properly at a given depth and ensures 100% weed cutting, while preventing from the unit damages when increasing force on the shovel more than the nominal one.
There are three types of operative parts under the cultivator part of the complex:
1. Spring-tine harrows: allow the complete removing of gangs left by wheels and operative parts of the cultivator, create a flat surface of the field, crush the soil additionally and extirpate weeds.
2. Press roller: levels, harrows out, removes gangs and firms the soil, performs the function of a damper, creating optimal conditions for the operation of the disc coulter.
3. Disc coulter: provides the high-quality sowing of the seed material at the selected depth with the simultaneous packing of rows, leaving the row spacing loose.
The machine seed loading, electronic quality control of the seeding machine functioning and parallel driving system allow to carry out planting confidently at any time of the day, in case of any dust content and to maintain the complex by one tractor operator only. Upon completion of the planting season, the complex is easily transformed into a cultivator, which can be used for the cultivation of fallow lands and the basic fall cultivation.
