Description

Graphene - is a fine-dispersed dark gray powder. Basically, at the micro- and nanoscale, the powder consists of flakes with one to ten graphene layers. Under ultrasound in nonpolar and hydrophobic solvents (predominantly), as well as solvents with affinity for graphene structure, it forms fairly stable dispersions (N-methylpyrrolidone, dimethylformamide, dimethylsulphoxide, chloroform, heptane, as well as isopropanol and etc.). In polar hydrophilic solvents, the dispersions produced by ultrasound are unstable (water, acetone, ethyl alcohol). Store the powder at room temperature in a closed weighing cup.

(a significant part of oxygen correspond to surface-adsorbed water; also possible presence of trace amounts of sulfur, less than 0.02%)
