Description

The ring gantry based Siddharth II combines advanced technology and simplicity of using one machine for all treatment modalities. Capable of delivering 6MV photons, Siddharth II is an ideal solution for every radiotherapy center.
Two onboard kV imaging sources capable of stereo-tactic imaging and full and half fan CBCT ensures quick acquisition of volumetric data which can be acquired every day before, during or after the treatment. This volumetric data combined with the 6D robotic couch ensures sub millimeter accuracy during treatment delivery. The 6 different motions of the couch along with the 150cm bore allows non-coplanar treatments to be delivered. The wide bore allows easy the dosimetric calibration and large immobilization devices like breast board to be placed without the risk of collision.
The dynamic 50 pair MLC, capable of complete overtravel at speeds up to 3cm/sec aids Siddharth II in delivering Image Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT) based 3D Conformal Radiotherapy (3D-CRT), Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT).
The intuitive user interface seamlessly guides the user through entire treatment workflow. DICOM compatibility and completely paperless setup reduces error which may arise during manual data entry therefore further improves the overall accuracy of treatment. The exclusive inbuilt beam stopper reduces the shielding requirements of the bunker enabling Siddharth II to be housed in an existing cobalt bunker with minimal modifications.
