Digital multigate transcranial Doppler system SONOMED 300M is intended for all kind of examinations of peripheral, extra- and intracranial vessels of the human bloodflow and longterm monitoring with automatic emboli detection.
There is a big difference between new digital and traditional pencil Doppler systems - presence information about the vessel location. All vessels which are crossed by ultrasound beam, is shown on the monitor screen in M-window (like M-CF mode for US scanners). So navigation and search of the TC vessels becomes easy and fast. Sample volume should be simply placed on the interesting TC vessel in M-window for examination.
A few vessels which locate on different depths can be examined simultaneously due to information from all depths along US beam. It is also possible to examine the blood flow on any depth after loading data from Data Base. TC multigate Doppler system – Sonomed-300M has a good depth resolution for accurate detection and visualization closely located vessels.
