1. Only JSC “UEC-Klimov” has the legitimate rights to perform:

Overhaul of the ВК-2500 engines;
Upgrading of the ТВ3-117 engine to the ВК-2500 engine during overhaul;
Reconditioning repair of the ВК-2500 engine at operator`s facilities.
2. An exceptional prerogative of the Designer is extension of the life limits in accordance with the Decision of General Designer:
The TV3-117 (ТВ3-117) engine
- Extension of the service life between overhauls considering technical condition up to 2,000 hours.

- Extension of the service time (storage time period) up to 19 years.

The TV3-117 A(AG) (ТВ2-117А(АГ)) engine
- Extension of the service time (storage time period) up to 19 years.

The VR-14 (ВР-14) gear box
- Extension of the assigned service life up to 8,000 hours.

- Extension of the service life to the first overhaul (service life between overhauls) up to 4,000 hours.

- Extension of the service time (storage time period) up to 17 years.

The VR-8 (A) ( ВР-8(А)) gear box
- Extension of the service time (storage time period) up to 17 years.

Leading operation of the TV3-117 (ТВ3-117) engine and the VR-14 (ВР-14), VR-252 (ВР-252) gear boxes.
