Description

To synchronize the server, the built-in GLONASS / GPS receiver or external 1PPS and NMEA
input signals are used. High stability of the server clock is provided by a thermostated reference
generator (temperature instability 0.01ppm).
The following protocols and output signals can be used to synchronize external devices:
Ptp;
NTP;
1PPS;
1PPM;
10MHz / 2.048MHz;
IRIG-B DCLS;
IRIG-B AM;
NMEA (RS-232).
Signals 1PPS, 1PPM are simultaneously output to the contacts of solid state relays with electronic
overload protection.
You can monitor the server status using the LEDs on the front panel, using the terminal (RS-232 or
USB), remotely, via Ethernet: via the WEB interface or via the Telnet protocol. An alarm signal is
output on the opto-relay.
The server is powered from a 110..230V AC network or from a backup DC source of 12..36V
(optionally 24..72V). Switching to the backup source in the event of a main power failure occurs automatically. Power consumption in steady state does not exceed 8W.
The server is made in a metal case measuring 240x205 × 44 mm with a mount in a 19 ″ rack. You can install one or two Metronome-PTP-1U servers on one 1U site.
It uses Russian-developed GPS / GLONASS modules and open source software (Linux OS).
It is made at JSC “NIISSU”.
