The design center of the institute carries out a full range of works on the design of digital integrated circuits. The production of crystals for NIIET products is carried out by the best domestic and foreign factories. The Institute’s specialists have been developing and manufacturing IC for more than 50 years. During this time, an entire school was formed at the enterprise to create LSI and VLSI, DSP and ADC. Currently, the Institute has 2 laboratories involved in the development of microcontrollers and other ICs.
The partners of the enterprise are leading domestic and foreign silicon factories with which agreements have been concluded to provide foundry-services for the production of wafers with crystals in a wide range of technological processes. The design center has licenses and technical support from the world's leading manufacturers of software tools that allow the design of microcircuits and powerful microwave transistors with design standards up to 14 nm.

Voronezh is traditionally considered a school of high-frequency microwave products operating at frequencies up to 1.5 GHz. Currently, the line of these components is being developed by the company's specialists and goes into higher ranges.
The main area of work in the field of RF and microwave topics at this stage is the development of transistors and power amplifiers for various purposes. NIIET conducts a full range of work, from the preparation of technical specifications and the development of circuit and design solutions, ending with the manufacture and measurement of prototypes.
To date, the NIIET development portfolio includes about 80 microcircuits and 130 transistors
