Among its features is a wide range of operating temperatures for its operation from -50 to + 50 °C, as well as automatic adjustment of brightness of the electron-optical converters. PN-11KM weighs 850 grams with dimensions of 202x130x64 mm.

The optical scheme has a five-fold increase of the image and an 11-degree field of vision. Depending on external conditions, the distance of recognition of a human figure is up to 350 meters. The device was developed by one of the largest manufacturers of shooting and observational optics within Shvabe - Novosibirsk Instrument-Making Plant (NPZ).
