Radar equipment
RSP-2ST is designed to control air traffic in the area of aerodromes, as well as to control the approach process by determining the deviations of the aircraft from a given line of descent vertically, horizontally, and giving commands to the crew via radio channels
Part number:
Description
The main features of the radar landing system RSP-2ST include the following:
- consists of the dispatching (survey) radar AORL-1AS (commercially available product) and the landing radar PRL-2ST.
- Antenna system in the form of phased antenna arrays without mechanical scanning with an instantaneous change in the direction of landing;
- the availability of means of dealing with blind speeds and noise from moving meteorological formations;
- detection of aircraft and measurement of deviations from a given reduction path against the background of passive interference;
- transfer to board the measured deviations in the signal format of the instrumental landing system (optional);
- ensuring the storage of radar data up to 30 s ducks by means of objective control;
- solid-state transmitter;
- continuous monitoring of the equipment;
- operation of solid-state transmitters in the “soft failure” mode;
- alarm of failure and exit of equipment parameters beyond tolerances and automatic transition to the backup set;
- local and remote control of switching on, switching off, switching to a backup set, changing modes of operation and direction of landing;
- diagnostics of faulty elements with depth to a replaceable functional unit;
- availability of security and fire alarm systems.
Maximum detection range km 40
Zones of the course antennas and the glide path in the horizontal plane are degrees from - 17.5 to +17.5
Zones of the course antennas and the glide path in the vertical plane are degrees from -1 to +8
Range resolution, less than m 75
Azimuth resolution, grad 1.2
The resolution of the elevation angle of 0.6
