The pulse generator PG-M1
The pulse generator PG-M1 is designed to equip electrical discharge copying broaching machines.The structure of PG-M1 includes a specialized power module, which provides formation oxide breackdown pulses on the surface of workpieces made of titanium alloys.

Advantages:
- prompt assignment of different rise time and fall time working pulses which leads to optimization for processing parameters, such as the performance and deterioration of the electrode-tool (ET),
- prompt assignment of four forms of working pulses - rectangular, trapezoidal, exponential and with sinusoidally rising edge. Each pulse is distributed to 32 segments. There is a possibility of inclusion of an additional pulse within each pulse, which will have demanded amplitude and duration synchronized with the falling edge of the working pulse,
- smooth change, within wide limits, of size of an interelectrode gap (IEG) and system reaction speed on IEG condition during production,
- protection against arcing and short circuit in IEG (with the possibility of changing the threshold level), allowing to prevent occurrence of mentioned adverse effects before their development,
- ET motion and supply control, provided with use of drive by stepping motor, and ball-screw gear,

5. Pairing with a device digital display of linear displacement transducer.
6. Maintaining voltage setpoint of electrode gap in the range of 30 - 50 V by moving the drive control electrode tool on «W» axis.
7. Working out detail's mode of contact.
8. Determination and development of a condition of short circuit in an operating mode.
9. Parameters storage for settings of pulse forming for multiple processing frames.
