Glass yarns are used in production of fabrics, tapes and meshes of different applications (electric insulation, building, construction); as electric insulation winding of wires and cables, starters and transformers, reinforcing filler of construction materials, glass tissue, in the form of cords and stockings. Depending upon the application glass yarns are made on different types of sizing in order to provide the best consumer and technological properties in their further processing. Type of sizing, linear density, yarn structure (number of plies, twist value) can be chosen based on customer’s requirements.
