Magnesium alloys are manufactured using flux-free melting in inert atmosphere. It insures absence of chloride inclusions, stability of macrostructure and absence of intermetallic compounds. Such high quality is achieved due to usage of advanced technology of melting and casting of magnesium ingots employing the inductive plant having no analogs in Russian industry.


Magnesium ingots are intended for making a wide assortment of various items by pressure-shaping method (extrusion): profiles, bars, sheets, plates, wire etc. These items are used for manufacture of semi-finished products intended for aerospace, rocket, defense industry, instrument-making industry and other branches.
