UVP based on SiS 552 and AMD Geode LX900 processor
The development concepts of modern automated control systems involve solving a wide range of specialized tasks, different in their complexity and resource requirements. One of the solutions is the creation of unique specialized systems. This approach provides maximum efficiency, but it is very expensive, because implies high costs for the development, testing and implementation of these solutions.

As an alternative approach, NICEVT JSC offers a range of universal computing platforms (UVP), different in computing power and interfaces, with the possibility of hardware-software adaptation for use in various subject areas. At the same time, the level and equipment of the applicable platform is selected depending on the requirements of the task being solved.
Main technical specifications:
- the central processor SiS-550 (the computing core is compatible with Pentium MMX), the clock frequency is 166 or 200 MHz (determined when ordering);
- RAM 32, 64 or 128 MB SDRAM 133 (determined when ordering);
- built-in loader PHE / BootP;
- built-in Ethernet 10 / 100BaseTX or 100BaseFX Ethernet controller (MT type connector) based on Am79C973 (determined when ordering);
- built-in USB, IDE, AC'97 codec (16 bit stereo 48 KHz), PS / 2, PC / 104-plus (PCI), LPC, CRT, LVDS (1280x1024) (determined when ordering);
- supply voltage 12 volts ± 10%;
- power consumption no more than 10 W;
- form factor 3.5 ";
- a service life of at least 7 years, subject to the observance of the operating rules.
Start of mass production - Q3 2006
Specialists of JSC "NICEVT" began to develop platforms of medium and high level. They are planned to be implemented on AMD processors:
- The average level based on AMD Geode 800LX (500 MHz);
- Senior level based on AMD Turion 2 GHz.
The platforms under development are planned to equip DDR2 RAM with a capacity of up to 2 GB, additional interfaces SmartCard, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Serial production began in 2007.
The range of applications of UVP is wide, for example, as high-performance industrial controllers, video input and processing systems, authentication systems, cluster systems, etc.
