Device for displaying collective information
Device for displaying information of collective use (DDCI) is intended for reception from various sources, preparation and joint representation of the heterogeneous information circulating in system, on the polyscreen (video wall) consisting of several display devices.
Part number:
Description
DDCI provides:
* simultaneous display of data coming from multiple sources:
* remote control of screen and information display;
• the possibility to manufacture samples of SOKP with a variable number of modules display information
forming the split screen.
It includes a controller on the basis of a computer electronic EC1855, which is designed to perform
physical connection of information sources to the polyscreen, control the display of information.
The functionality of the controller control means display information for collective use (KU SAIK)
• Support different kinds of image sources:
* video4linux (Webcams, DVI/HDMI/VGA frame grabbers, tuners, …);
* play local files and images (over network via NFS);
* VNC (view only);
* local application inside Xvfb.
* Support for adding labels and vector graphics (in any place on the screen and in relation to Windows).
* Retransmission of the received image and individual sources over the network.
• Image processing before displaying to the screen:
* Translucency and compositing (overlay order control);
* Brightness, contrast;
• The resampling implementation using different filtering methods;
• Framing.
* Support high resolution sources (more than 2.5 K DVI source, more than 4K video, up to 16K static
images).
* Supports up to 16 or more screens with a resolution of 1920×1080 and above.
The architecture of DDCI controller
* Generation/acquisition of the image for display is performed in separate independent processes
* The window is a way to display the source (with its own brightness, contrast, transparency, zoom
settings, …)
* Windows are placed on the scene, you can switch between scenes. Only one scene is active at a time.
* Image rendering is done via OpenGL
