PURPOSE
Designed to detect leaks of combustible gases and vapors: methane, propane, butane, acetylene,
carbon monoxide, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen, gasoline, freons, alcohol and other
solvents - on gas and oil pipelines, gas fittings for industrial and domestic use, in residential and
production facilities.

TGP-11 has the ability to automatically correct zero and sensitivity.
Due to the ability to compensate for the background concentration, the device successfully searches
for leaks even in gassed rooms, for example, in compressor rooms of gas filling stations.
The leak detector provides the ability to change the sensitivity threshold in the direction of
reduction for more accurate localization of the leak.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The principle of the leak detector is based on an increase in the conductivity of semiconductor
ceramics at 400 ° C under the influence of combustible gases.
The main advantages of semiconductor leak detectors are:
■ high sensitivity and high selectivity (reacts only to combustible gases);
■ relatively low consumption of electrical energy, eliminating the problems with intrinsic safety of
electrical circuits;
■ diffusion supply of the analyzed gas mixture;
■ A simple way to protect against the effects of dust and air velocity using ceramic-metal gas
exchange filters.
