The slit lamp is designed for biomicroscopic examination of the anterior part of the eye, as well as with the help of an additional aspherical 60 dptr lens and the posterior part of the eye.

The device is equipped with a binocular stereo microscope with a device for a discrete change of magnifications. Optimal removal of the exit pupil of the eyepieces allows for comfortable observation through the microscope even with glasses.

Distinctive features of the SL-P-04 and its modifications are: high working reliability of mechanics and excellent quality of the illuminated optics, a wide range of adjusting the brightness of the image of the slit, simplicity and ergonomics of conveniently located controls.

Additionally, slit lamps are completed:

- tonometer;

- an adapter (for transferring an image of an eye to a computer monitor).
