Ward communication and alarm system consists of a certain number of call buttons (connected by flat cables) and ward alarm control console. The console transmits signal to the employee on duty and ensures internal communication within the section itself. Usually, ward alarm buttons are installed at bed-head. For lying patients, buttons with extenders are installed. Besides, a ward alarm system can operate on a separate radio channel and be equipped with wearable buttons in the form of radio pendants.
