Radio-transparent materials
Radio-transparent materials are designed to protect antenna systems for various purposes from external factors and improve operating conditions. In severe climatic conditions (low or high air temperature, high humidity, precipitation in the form of dew or frost, sea salt fog), the use of radio-transparent materials provides protection from external influences and prolongs the life of antenna systems. Strength characteristics and methods of fastening ensure the stability of the shelter at wind speeds up to 50 m/s

Description
Employees of JSC "Concern" VEGA " are specialists in the design of walls of radio-transparent shelters, fairings and Windows for various purposes based on the use of mathematical and full-scale modeling
methods, taking into account the capabilities of the most effective modern structural radio-transparent materials with a filler in the form of high-strength polymer foams.
The nomenclature of radio-transparent structural materials includes a wide range of composite polymer materials, glass-fiber composites with extremely low values of the tangent of the dielectric loss angle (less than 0.01) based on glass fabrics with improved physical and mechanical characteristics and polymer binders. The use of polymer foams as a filler of the walls of a multilayer structure allows to obtain structures characterized by isotropy of radio technical characteristics, high transparency (coefficient of passage depending on customer requirements), improved physical, mechanical and operational properties.
