The modem is designed to organize a simplex, half-duplex and duplex communication channel formed by HF radio facilities with a standard single-band telephone channel 300 - 3400 Hz.

The modem uses an original communication protocol that provides optimal network bandwidth for
long-distance HF communication.
As part of the HF radio link, the modem provides:
data transmission in a channel with a frequency band of 3.1 kHz with speeds of 300-9600 bps, the expansion of the band and, accordingly, the increase in speed are provided;
selective call;
automatic establishment, maintenance and disconnection;
batch file transfer with guaranteed delivery;
“Digital speech” (total delay in the base kit is not more than 0.3 s);
the ability to connect GSM, GPS / Glonass devices.
