Shvabe Description
The sight is designed for observation of the terrain, detection, target recognition and aiming shooting from a hunting weapon of 5.45 ÷ 9.3 mm caliber with natural night illumination from (3-5) x10-3 lx to 1.5 lx. The sight provides target recognition at a distance of up to 400 m with an image intensifier of a 2+ generation, and up to 500 m with an image intensifier of a generation 3. The sight can be made with an image intensifier of green or black-and-white luminescence, and can also be executed with one of three types of aiming mark - peak, peak with distance scale, mil-dot.
Internal focusing of the lens provides a clear vision of objects in the range of distances from 35 m to infinity. The sight has a manual adjustment of the gain of the image intensifier to better adapt the eye to the difference between night illumination and the picture in the sight, extending the observation time without fatigue, reducing the blindness of the eye, creating an optimal contrast between the brightness of the background and the target, depending on the individual characteristics of the hunter's vision. On the body of the sight there is a picatinny plate for mounting an external IR-lamp, target designator and other additional equipment.
The modular design and a rich collection of brackets ensures its installation on weapons with any landing base, including side and top dovetail, picatinny / weawer slat, on MAK and Apel brackets.
Each sight passes a cycle of acceptance tests confirming its strength, climatic qualities. The sight is operated at an ambient temperature from plus 40 to minus 40 ° C and a relative air humidity of up to 98% at a temperature of 25 ° C.
