Description

OMK has vast experience in making LDPs for pipelines passing along the sea floor.

OMK is Russia’s first and only pipe company that delivered products for the Nord Stream international project. Over 460,000 tons of pipes were supplied for the two sections of the gas pipeline; parts of the pipes have characteristics that are unique in the world.

The successful fulfillment of contract obligations under Nord Stream facilitated OMK’s victory in other major sea projects: Baidaratskaya Guba, the underwater crossing from the Sakhalin Island to the mainland as part of the Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok project, Dzhubga-Lazarevskoye-Sochi, and the Varandey sea terminal in the Barents Sea.

The company also won the tenders for supplying 600 km of pipes for the Turkish Stream offshore gas pipeline in 2014, which is constructed by South Stream Transport BV.
