SSCM terminal is intended for information about the location and other aircraft parameters transmitting and text message exchanging via satellite communication channel. The terminal can be installed at the helicopters and turbo-prop airplanes.

THE TERMINAL PROVIDES:

• Determination (by embedded receiver GPS):
• The aircraft current geographical coordinates;
• Aircraft speed;
• Track angle;
• The aircraft altitude above the sea level.
• Receiving the internal aircraft parameters (strut compression, engine start, etc)from the flight data acquiring system.
• Input from the alarm signalization button panel the alarm signal.
• Input short text messages from the control panel (optional or previously defined);
• Received short messages displaying at the control panel screen;
• Transmit the information via Inmarsat satellite communication channel.

TERMINAL COMPOSITION:

• Satellite transceiver block (with integrated GLONASS/GPS receiver and antenna)- (STB-Satellite Transceiver Block).
• Control panel (CP-M-Control Panel).
