SPU-34 (ICS) provides:

• Internal telephone communication between the pilots, as well as between the pilots and airplane passenger;
• Output to the external radio communication via radio sets for the pilots;
• Radio navigation equipment signals listening by the pilots;
• Special Signal Transducer listening by the pilots;
• Voice information to the recording equipment (on-board tape-recorder) delivery.

Some SPU-34 (ICS) versions include marker radio signals receiver with antenna input, which provides:

• Marker beacon radio signals receiving;
• Audio and light indication forming in case of radio signals presence.

VERSIONS

SPU-34 (ICS) versions vary in composition, the number of plug-in headsets and radio sets, and the presence of integrated marker receiver.

FROM THE UNITS FRONTAL PANEL IS POSSIBLE:

• To adjust the internal communication signals volume;
• To adjust NAV signals volume and to switch off their listening;
• To choose the radio station for external radio communication;
• To adjust external communication signals volume;
• To switch on SPU emergency backup mode;
• To adjust marker receiver sensitivity mode;
• To switch on marker receiver control mode, which enables the listening of the tone signals and checking of the receiver light indicators.
