YSAR+ Description
A MIS is an automated information system based on the principles of service-oriented architecture (SOA). The system implements a process approach to automation of operations of a medical institution and ensures a comprehensive multi-level support of the treatment-and-diagnostic process at all of its stages.
Usage of SOA principles allows to perform the following:
- providing unlimited possibilities as far as scalability of the solution is concerned;
- ensuring possibility of easy execution of treatment-and-diagnostic processes peculiar for a given institution;
- ensuring wide range of possibilities of the System's integration with various solutions of third-party developers;
- ensuring a simple algorithm for increase of the system's functionality;
The solution offered can be implemented in the following standard configurations:
- Clinic - for small-sized and regular outpatient medical centers;
- In-patient - for medical institutions providing in-patient medical assistance;
- For medical institutions providing both out-patient and in-patient medical assistance.
These configurations are built by combining the required set of software modules, and ensure availability of automated user workplaces.
Standard configurations are built using the following subsystems, components and modules:
- System-wide components:
- System-wide mechanisms;
- Integration platform;
- Administration tools;
- Adjustment and adaptation tools.

Inpatient Subsystem:
- Admission unit;
- Primary care unit;
- Surgical treatment section;
- Instrumental examination;
- Laboratory diagnostics;
- Consulting section;
- Rehabilitation treatment section;
- Medical commissions;
- Analytical subsystem;
- Medical statistics section;
- Pharmacy of treatment-and-prophylactic institution (including individualized stock taking);
- Patients' food.
Clinic Subsystem:

- Unit issuing Work Incapacity Certificates;
- Hospital admission desk;
- Patients' referral to rehabilitation-and-resort treatment;
- Ambulance;
- Analytical subsystem;
- Medical statistics section;
- Pharmacy of treatment-and-prophylactic institution (including individualized stock taking).
Pharmaceutical Supply Subsystem
- Issue of prescriptions;
- Handout of pharmaceuticals;
- Inventory-taking of pharmaceuticals.
Subsystem for Specialized Archiving of Electronic Medical Documents.
Subsystem for Administrative and Economic Activities.
Human Resource Management Subsystem.
Subsystem for Communications with Federal Registries.
Data Processing Center Subsystem:
- Module for archiving of norm-setting and reference documentation;
- Module for communications and centralized archiving of data on provided medical assistance and pharmaceuticals;
- Analytical module.
The Medical Information System ensures integration with federal services of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
The list of components is determined by the necessity of ensuring collaboration with federal-level components of the Unified State Healthcare Information System, as well as with information systems of territorial divisions of the Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund and with executive bodies of state power.
The following services are implemented in the system:
- Communication with the system for electronic communications between various administrative bodies;
- Communication with the infrastructure for issue and servicing of unified electronic cards;
- Communication with the unified portal of state and municipal services, regional portal of state and municipal services, and other systems created within the framework of 'electronic government' infrastructure;
- Accessing user catalogue created on federal level;
- Services for communications with external information systems, including information systems located in treatment-and-prophylactic institutions, systems of medical insurance organizations, territorial divisions of the Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund;
- Integration with subsystems of medical information system, including instrumental examinations and medical information systems used previously;
- Communication with system-wide components of federal level;
- Other information-and-technical services.
