Neurobotics
Basic information
In February 2004, he founded the company Neurobotics, which develops and manufactures equipment for research in the field of neurobiology — human neurophysiology and psychophysiology, also equipment for animal experiments. The company began to deal in the development of the brain-computer interface technology since 2006.
Since 2007 Neurobotics has been supplying imported equipment of foreign manufacturers specializing in neurophysiology, psychology, animal physiology (Brain Products GmbH, ADInstruments, Plexon, Noldus, Cambridge Cognition, Stoelting, WPI, MazeEngineering, Warner Instruments and until 2018 SensoMotoric Instruments).
The company has performed several Research and development works for the Federal security service of the Russian Federation, the Federal Guard Service of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of defense, the Investigative Committee, the FPI, the MPT. The subject area of the projects — psycho-physiology, engineering, ergonomics, interface "brain-computer".
Since August 2011, Neurobotics invests most of its own profits in anthropomorphic robotics and biocontrol systems based on EEG and EMG robots. In 2015, Neurobotics invested part of its profits in its own projects to replace several popular imported products for research in the field of animal physiology and behavior – a system of Minotaur, shelter, systole, Phlogiston, restrainer Teremok. The company has own production department. As a result of such replacement of import goods, in the market of the Russian Federation, there was equipment at 4-10 times cheaper, than foreign analogs. At the same time, technical characteristics of the equipment often exceed characteristics of the import analogs owing to use of new component base and considering of specifications of several products analogs.
From October 2014 to October 2015, the Neurobotics company under the State Contract with the Central Scientific-Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering (Customer - Roscosmos) developed a prototype of the anthropomorphic robot Andronavt to carry out operations of intra-ship activities in space, including the provision of psychological and information support to astronauts.
In the first half of 2016, Neurobotics delivered equipment for neuro-controlling lessons (Neurobelt-8 neural headset) M-Bot robots and Parrot quadcopters in 5 Russian schools (Dolgoprudny, Khanty-Mansiysk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Kaliningrad, Korolev) and the Education Centre — Sirius (Sochi). This equipment was used for World Skills competitions in May 2016.
On October 8, 2016, in Zurich the team of "Neurobotics" took part in the first international competitions of bionic athletes Cybathlon-2016 in BCI and EXO disciplines. For the EXO discipline the exoskeleton has been developed, and for the BCI one was used neural headset Nanobelt-8. Neurobotics was the only participant representing Russia in these disciplines.
