Chepetsky Mechanical Plant is a joint stock company, the part of TVEL Corporation belonging to Nuclear Power Federal Agency. The Plant is located in Glazov, the town which is situated in the north part of Udmurt Republic. The Plant has been successful in its field for more than sixty years and celebrated its jubilee in 2006. At present ChMP ranks one of the leading positions among the world producers of zirconium and zirconium alloy products. SC Chepetsky Mechanical Plant is one of the largest enterprises in Ural region and is a producer of the world high standards. The terms of successful operation are the competent managing, economical and manpower policy, application of the modern information technologies. Due to these factors ChMP maintains and develops cooperation with many big enterprises of nuclear, chemical metallurgical and machine building industries in Russia and abroad.
SC Chepetsky Mechanical Plant is one of the world leaders in production of zirconium and zirconium alloy products, natural and depleted uranium, and calcium metal and is one of the dominant Plants in production chain of manufacturing of fuel, structural materials and products for nuclear power engineering. From raw material to final product – that is the Plant production cycle.
ChMP applies the certified system of the products quality management. The Plant achievements in quality field are confirmed by Russian and international awards and, above all, by consumers of Chepetsky Mechanical Plant products.
Large-scale activities in re-equipment and technical renovation of the Plant allow forecasting of the stable position of ChMP in its field and in the world market.
