T8 is a leading manufacturer of wavelength-division multiplexing telecom equipment (DWDM and CWDM) in Russia and CIS countries. We develop and produce a line of DWDM and CWDM equipment with a channel speeds up to 100 Gbit/s. All T8 equipment is being developed and manufactured in Russia. To produce our equipment we use the best components from Europe, US, Japan, Russia and other countries. More than 150 people are working in our company, including 2 professors and 15 PhDs. The company entered the list of top-ten most innovative companies of Russia according to the “TekhUspekh-2014” ranking and one of 30 leading Russian high-tech companies with the rapid development. «T8» won CNEWS AWARD competition in nomination “Russian technologies”.The activity of T8 was many times awarded by a Laser Association. In 2014 the company won a competition of a Russian state corporation “ROSTECH” in a field of photonics with a project of a new DWDM-system. A large part of our profit is re-invested in scientific research and development that allow us to keep place with the world leading manufacturers of CWDM and DWDM equipment. T8 has its own R&D Center which is a resident of the Skolkovo innovation center, as well as the best-equipped measurement laboratory in Russia.Every year our specialists publish dozens of scientific articles in international and Russian journals, and obtain patents for new scientific research results. Based on researches performed in our R&D Center, we established several world records in 100 Gbit/s signal transmission: Several world records in 100G signal transmission were set using our DWDM-platform Volga: 100G transmission over 4000 km in a 80-channel DWDM system without dispersion compensator modules (DCM); 10*100G transmission over 500 km in a single-span fiber optic line with use of remote optically pumped amplifiers (ROPA).
