JSC “NICEVT” is one of the oldest developers of hard- and software. In 1994 NICEVT enterprise was transformed into Joint-Stock Company NICEVT with federal ownership share 60,26%. In accordance with the Executive Order of the Russian President №297, since March,20, 2009, JSC “NICEVT” has been included into JSC “Radio Engineering Corporation “VEGA””. The most important business line of scientific and technological activities of JSC “NICEVT” is development of supercomputer technologies and their implementation in science, production sector and education. Along this business line supercomputer family with highly promising architecture EC-1740 “Angara” is constructed. (…)Their basis will be consisted of the multicore, multi-tread chip and high-speed communication network that are developed in JSC “NICEVT”. Major architecture solutions that are performed in EC-1740 “Angara” match the tendencies of foreign supercomputer technologies development and projects that are carried out in more developed countries that effectively use similar machinery in order to accomplish complicated scientific-technical and socioeconomic calculations. Main consumers of these products in Russia are federal agencies and RAS that plan to use them in pursue of important scientific-technical issues, necessary for the modernization of Russian economy. Due to the importance of practical use of promising supercomputer technologies in science and industry JSC “NICEVT” in near future is going to come into the domestic market of supercomputer systems of general purpose. The company is also going to make suggestions that have significant competitive positions, to be more exact: they include communication network that is being developed by JSC “NICEVT”, that allows to solve computational tasks with bad data localization more effectively; they also include having hardware and pre-installed software, that is adapted for effective solution of certain computationally-capacious tasks and establishing task-oriented computer complex.

The company is a part of JSC “Radio Engineering Corporation “Vega” within the holding company JSC “Roselectronics” of the State Corporation “Rostec”
