On January 17, the 1st international teleconference-presentation "Green innovations for regeneration of the earth" was held, organized by the Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies. The online meeting was attended by representatives of scientific, agricultural and industrial communities from a number of regions of Russia, as well as China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Zambia, Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Guinea, India, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and other countries.
The scientific community of the Saratov region was represented at the conference by scientists from Vavilov University and the FANC of the South-East. Presentations on the topic of the conference were made by: Associate Professor of the Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology of the University Zaur Khaptsev, agrotechnologist, scientific representative of the Modern Technologies company Ivan Maslov and Deputy Director of the Center for Scientific Work of the FANC of the South-East Sergey Derevyagin.
The participants were presented with developments that allow for further greening of agricultural production in the context of global climate change and the associated noticeable increase in arid land areas in various regions of the world. In particular, the works of scientists from the university's department on humic preparations based on lowland peat and microbial preparations to increase soil fertility were presented.
