One of the Moscow research and production sites of Shvabe Holding has been granted a patent. The current invention can be used in radio-electronic systems and devices for industrial, military and household purposes to register weak signals distinguished from background noise.
The threshold device with automatic noise stabilization of audio and video signals is invented by engineers of POLYUS Research Institute of M.F. Stelmakh Holding. The main task was to significantly reduce the time it takes for the device to reach the operating mode. Today, the device most similar in technical terms takes a long time to start operating – about 1-6 seconds.
The engineering changes made it possible for the specialists from POLYUS Research Institute to reduce this time to one millisecond and less, as well as to ensure operation in the frequency mode and at non-stationary short-time noise. In particular, the latter is essential for a number of devices, for example, for laser rangefinders when updating information with a frequency of up to 1000 Hz.
“This device makes the signal “clear”, excluding ambient noise as much as possible. It is designed and manufactured with the use of radio-electronic technology. The brassboards have successfully passed our technological tests, confirming the applicability of the device in practice," said Evgeny Kuznetsov, General Director of POLYUS Research Institute.
