In a close celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, the United Engine Corporation (part of the Rostec State Corporation) launched the corporate patriotic project «Our Victory: Their Life. My story».
All employees, whose relatives brought their common Victory in the Great Patriotic War to their combat or labor feat, were invited to take part in the project. According to the terms of the contest, the best stories were published on a special corporate website http://nashapobeda.uecrus.com. It is also planned to publish them in corporate groups of social networks. Besides stories about personal war veterans’ exploits, the site also contains the “Immortal Workshop” photo gallery, which publishes unique photographs of factory halls, workers and managers of UEC enterprises during the Great Patriotic War.
“The goal of our project is to show the importance of the contribution of front-line soldiers and home-front workers to the Great Victory, to preserve the memory of the war heroes, to remind us that the war left a deep and unforgettable mark on the fate of every family,” says Alexander Artyukhov, Director General of UEC. - The fact is that with the change of generations, priceless memories of that time are lost. "Such projects help to capture in history live stories about the deeds of our compatriots, and we are glad that we have contributed to this cause, common for the whole country."
