Konstantin Kosachev, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs, spoke at the conference "Moscow-Baku: dialogue of cultures", organized within the framework of the fifth Baku international humanitarian forum. The Senator emphasized the importance of humanitarian ties between the peoples of the two friendly countries in the context of severe geopolitical rivalry imposed on humanity by adherents of the unipolar world. According to Konstantin Kosachev, the peoples of Russia and Azerbaijan are united not only by a common history and geographical proximity, but also by close cultural traditions and spiritual values that determine the high level of political and economic relations of mutually beneficial cooperation.
Travel to the CIS is becoming more and more popular among Russians. Azerbaijan is not an exception in this regard, and it is not surprising – our countries have a common history, there is no language barrier, comfortable prices and, of course, traditional Caucasian hospitality. Do not forget that the very nature of Azerbaijan and its cultural heritage can satisfy almost any request-from a quiet beach holiday to independent travel or ecotourism and mountain skiing.
