MOSCOW, January 9-RIA Novosti. The government has approved the plan and main directions of federal property privatization for 2020-2022.

"Privatization is envisaged."..> federally owned shares of 186 joint-stock companies, 86 federal state unitary enterprises, rates of participation of the Russian Federation in 13 limited liability companies, more than 1000 objects of other property of the state treasury", - stated in the order published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

It is noted that in 2020-2022 an annual revenue of 3.6 billion rubles received from the privatization of the largest companies leading in their field is provided for in the federal budget.

The government reviewed and approved the privatization plan at the final meeting on December 25: the program included 293 enterprises, as well as seven major assets-VTB, Sovcomflot, Makhachkala and Novorossiysk sea trade ports, Almazyuvelirexport, Rosspirtprom, Kizlyar brandy factory.

As previously reported by Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, the Cabinet of Ministers has identified several areas for privatization: declining state's share to 50% + 1 share in strategic companies; declining state's share in companies with 100% participation, which will take more than one year. The third block is companies from which the state can safely withdraw.
